Online Application for NBI Clearance

September 17, 2014 1 Comments
online NBI clearance application form

This will be my last week working at my employer for 3 years. My resignation is effective this Friday, September 19. Of course like what I did 3 years ago, I applied first and get hired before I file my resignation. I'm not comfortable leaving the company without making sure of a new work place.

As usual, NBI Clearance is always a part of the requirements for new hires. And since I got mine 3 years ago, I need to renew my clearance. I thought of doing the same procedure I did before which is to request for renewal of clearance at NBI center at SM Megamall tomorrow but a colleague told me that I can do it online.

How to apply for an NBI Clearance online?
  • Search for NBI website (http://www.nbi.gov.ph/) and click on "Clearance Online Registration" button located on the left side of the website.
  • It will go to another link (http://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/) where you will see a form that you need to fill out.
  • Make sure to bring with you the specific ID that you indicated in the form.
  • Good thing here is that it shows how much do you need to pay for your application. Nice!
  • I also observed that it asks you to "Leave blank if none" but there is a NOTE below that "*If you don't have nickname or AKA or other name please put - (dash)". Maybe you can do either way but I put dash.
  • Then click the SUBMIT button.
  • It goes to the same page you filled out earlier but has additional information you need to provide. Just scroll down and continue filling it out.
  • Again, click the SUBMIT button.
  • A pop-up window will appear showing: Application Submitted. Please keep this as you REGISTRATION CODE XXXXXXXXXXX
  • I tried to click the PRINT APPLICATION button but it just go to another tab showing my application form. Maybe it didn't print because I used my office PC that is not connected to a printer. So I just copied the URL (link address) and accessed it at home then print the form.
  • Then go to the nearest NBI Clearance centers to process your application.
I think this online application was implemented to eliminate the long lines in their centers. And maybe it is working well because they have lesser centers now to accommodate the applicants. We'll see that later when I go to their center in Robinson's Galleria.

Click HERE to checkout the list of the centers nationwide for payment and biometric procedures. Online application is just the first step. You need to go to one of these centers to complete the process and for the release of your NBI clearance.

Frendz Resort Boracay Review

July 17, 2014 0 Comments

Rating Summary
Location ★★★★★
Sleep Quality ★★★★
Rooms ★★★★★
Service ★★★★
Value ★★★★
Cleanliness ★★★★★

My overall rating to Frendz Resort is EXCELLENT! This is because from the reservation process up to the day we checked out, we didn't have a problem with their accommodation.

  • Staff are nice and friendly.
  • Our designated fan room is very spacious and clean.
  • Free welcome drinks, towels, soap and 2 rolls of tissue aside from the one already in the restroom.
  • Room has its own veranda.
  • Great location, just a short walk to the beach and near D' Mall.

My Boracay Trip Expenses and Itinerary

July 16, 2014 3 Comments
sunset in boracay

It is our (me and my beau) first time to visit the world famous Island of Boracay and definitely will not be our last. We really enjoyed our 3d/2n trip and still want to go back because this island still has a lot to offer. We haven't explored even half of it but here's a simple computation of our expenses for 3 days & 2 nights on a low season.

boracay expenses for 3d2n

DAY 1: We arrived at Caticlan in the afternoon so we just rested a bit and then explored D' Mall and watched the sunset at the beach. We had our dinner at a cheap, beachfront restaurant near Frendz Resort where we are staying.

This Sisig is gooood!

DAY 2: We decided to go to Ariel's Point because this is the only whole day we can spend in the island. We aren't brave enough to cliff dive but the whole experience there is worthwhile. After that activity, we went to D' Talipapa to grab some souvenirs.

DAY 3: Our flight back to Manila is 11 am so we didn't do much on our last day, just had some breakfast and stayed a little while in the beach. Enjoying the serene feeling brought by the cool breeze at the sea shore. Our Boracay trip isn't that jam-packed that's why it is not too expensive but this is a much needed vacation for me.

Next topic is kinda interesting — "What to Do with your Money" discussed by a professional junkie and a freelance writer/editor Katherine Tiuseco. She gave some recommendations on saving for the Rainy & Sunny.

5 Tips on Properly Save
  • Value each Peso
  • Remember your motivations

  • Practice Delayed Gratification

All those inspiring and practical talks plus a delicious merienda is all worthwhile but a bella always doesn't go home empty-handed. So here's my take home. :)

Art Maven: 21-Day Year Starter Challenge

January 20, 2014 0 Comments
They say that whatever you do in 21 days makes or breaks a habit, so Belle de Jour came up with a 21-Day Year Starter Challenge to help us bellas to start our year right. Since I'm fired up that day when I saw this post from facebook, I didn't hesitate to join. You can choose any or all of the buckets but Art Maven is my chosen bucket.

Here are the day-today tasks together with my posts. This will serve as my collection of challenges so that someday when I feel lazy, I'll just read this post to be inspired and to remind myself that I took this challenge and started this year right! I will try to update this until the last day of the challenge.

Among Marcello Barenghi's works, this is my favorite. It amazed me how it was too detailed that it doesn't look like a drawing anymore but a real one. So cool!
Got this plant from a sidewalk near megamall last dec. I intend to give it as a gift but it dried up as soon as I got home. I thought it will die soon but its ok till now. Maybe ignoring it would make it stay alive. I just hope I can make it healthy again but sadly I dont have a green thumb
Pink, teal & purple are my favorite pastel colors
I'm currently using 2 logos. The first one is for my digital artworks & the other is my photography logo.
My name written in chinese, alibata & greek

DIY Stamps - always trendy & never gets old. Among the possible things we can use for stamping, I want to create an eraser stamp. It's affordable and can be used for other diy projects.
Wiw, I'm half way there...

Here's the link of the video thru instagram

When the queen asked her how was her sleep, the princess told her that she had endured a sleepless night because there is something hard in the bed and that kept her awake. The prince at once concluded that she was a real princess and asked her for marriage. She declined the prince's offer and told him that SHE WILL NOT MARRY A GUY WHOM SHE JUST MET (sounds familiar ba? :D) and alternately offered friendship to the prince. There, that can be a true story.

This is the hardest task for me -- to post my #OOTD hahaha :D

Yay! I did it! I finished all the tasks and it feels so great to accomplish something. I learned from this activity that sometimes we just need a little push to start something great. I'm glad that I'm part of this challenge and I know there will be more to come.
