Celebrating Chinese New Year 2013 in Chinatown Binondo

Chinese New Year is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. In China, it is also known as the Spring Festival, the literal translation of the modern Chinese name.
Here in the Philippines, we have our own little Chinatown in Binondo which is included in the list of the "World’s Best Chinatowns" by CNNGo, the travel website of Cable News NetworkBinondo is an enclave in Manila primarily populated by ethnic Chinese living in the Philippines. It is the oldest Chinatown in the world, established in 1594. (Wiw!)
Last Saturday February 9, me together with my collegues Ely Valendez, Somer Resurreccion and Charlie Oracion went there to witness how Filipinos and Tsinoys celebrate the Spring Festival. This is also my first Photowalk so I was so excited.
Allow me to share these photos with you...
